This year's Grammy Awards saw Taylor Swift steal the show, making history as the first musician to win album of the year four times.

The superstar and Stevie Wonder, Paul Simon, and Frank Sinatra had previously shared the record for three best album awards.

Amidst concerns about her health, Celine Dion surprised everyone by showing up to present her with the trophy. Swift also unveiled a surprise new album during the occasion.

At the presentation on Sunday, Miley Cyrus and Billie Eilish won the other two top prizes.

Music stalwarts Tracy Chapman and Joni Mitchell gave rare and moving performances, and R&B artists SZA and Victoria Monét, as well as the all-female indie ensemble Boygenius, took home many honors at the Los Angeles show.

The top male winner, Killer Mike, won three rap prizes. 

However, an alleged incident backstage overshadowed his success and resulted in his booking on a misdemeanor charge.

Taylor Swift's Midnights is the album of the year for the Grammy Awards.

What Was I Made For by Billie Eilish is the song of the year.

Victoria Monét won best new artist. Song of the year and record of the year are two different things. Song of the year honors songwriters and compositional accomplishments, while record of the year focuses on the technical aspects of recording, including production, engineering, and performance.

Taylor and Celine had a party.

The best album award was presented by Dion to an enthusiastic audience over a year after she was forced to postpone all of her live dates due to a rare neurological illness.

She said to the crowd, "I truly do mean it when I say that I'm happy to be here."

When Dion revealed that Swift had won best album, the crowd reacted with equal fervor.

The star has accomplished a lot in recent years, this momentous one being only one of them. "I would love to tell you that this is the best moment in my life," she stated, but she also said that just getting a song finished, practicing, or ready to perform makes her feel equally happy.

She remarked, "The work is the award for me." I just want to be able to do this over and over. I'm really fond of it. It brings me immense joy. That some of the individuals who voted for this award are pleased as well as me astounds me beyond belief.

Swift's other album of the year awards were from Fearless in 2010, 1989 in 2016, and Folklore in 2021.
